Cambridge Regional College celebrated its apprentice’s successes during national apprentice week 2018. The ceremony was hosted at the College’s Park restaurant.
National Apprentice Week is a time for employers and apprentices to come together to celebrate success in apprenticeships, encouraging apprenticeships as a great pathway to a career.
In recent years, the number of apprenticeships has grown vastly and apprenticeships in all manner of subjects and vocations are readily available.
Eva first became interested in Digital Marketing while studying it during her Interactive Media College Course. After realising University wasn’t for her, Eva chose to find an apprenticeship in something she enjoyed doing. She is now learning all things SEO at Studio 24 as part of the Digital Marketing team!
As part of her apprenticeship, Eva is learning to understand how search engines work and how they index websites alongside other digital marketing components such as social media, paid search advertising and content creation. As well as the work involved Eva is learning about the workplace as a whole and working with clients on a daily basis.
This celebration of apprentices and employers is truly deserved as we begin to see more pathways becoming available for those who don’t see University as the only option. You can see the video- highlights of the awards ceremony on the CRC website:
