Non-Executive Director
Gerald is a non-executive director at Studio 24, providing oversight to help the agency run successfully as well as providing support for marketing.
He brings huge experience from similar roles from organisations in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors including Cambridge Building Society, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was Chair of the Board of Directors.
In addition, he has held non-executive director positions in the retail department store, venture capital, and sports & leisure sectors. He is a former City and County Councillor.
His ‘day job’ is as Managing Partner of The Focus Group, Business & Management Consultants, where his core skills and competencies include; business planning, quality assurance, governance, performance and risk management, workforce development, marketing and communications, and the NHS.
He divides his time between his professional role and voluntary management of the family charity, The Elizabeth Coteman Fund, established after the death of his wife, Elizabeth, from pancreatic cancer, in 2010.
In this capacity, he also serves on the Executive Board of the Cambridge Pancreatic Cancer Centre.
Gerald is a good rackets player, cricketer, and triathlete and has turned out for the Studio 24 charity race team on several occasions.
